Supply Chain Distribution company in Guelph has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant - the ideal candidate has a high-level IT knowledge and is able to support the team with Tier One computer support - connectivity, passwords, reports, excel spreadsheets and data management.
Coordinates and manages data providing department support by compiling reports and excel spreadsheets at an Advanced level.
Providing team with technical skills - point person for electronic file management.
Assist in maintaining and creating documentation for applications and other IT operations.
Assist with tier one computer help requests, with more complex issues handled by other IT staff.
Serve as back up for operational functions as needed, such as receptionist, mailing clerk and inventory/orders.
Assist department staff with organizational IT projects as needed.
All other administrative skills including creating correspondence, responding to emails, organizing and scheduling meetings.
Our ideal candidate will have:

University or College Diploma - IT or Executive Level of Administration preferred
One year of experience working with data/databases is required.
Excellent skills working with MS Outlook.
Word and Excel to create select/update/delete queries is required.
Advanced Excel skills including V- look up, Pivot table, exporting data from ERP software and uploading software, creating excel sales and operations reports for management team.
