Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia’s Digital Sales performance in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Conducting advanced analytics to recommend strategies with our Digital Marketing partners generating sales revenue via digital channels. Using Machine Learning and data science techniques to analysis massive volumes of structured and unstructured data to create actionable insights. Contributing to the development of data driven Multi-touch attribution models Identifying information gaps across business lines to drive alignment on key metrics; develop plan of action to address and close any gaps Investigating and become an expert in available data sources of data, transform and determine how they can be interpreted for analysis Support Campaign Management & Marketing Optimization by: Collaborating with Digital Marketing partners to enhance campaign performance and Return on Investment, including measuring application conversion, offer response rates, performing cost-benefit analysis, etc. Identifying and articulating business insights that will inform strategic and tactical plans Enabling accurate digital data capture and analysis with Adobe and GA tools Being involved in the definition of business requirements and processes, ensuring that progress can be measured against planned objectives by working with QA Development teams, Security, and internal partners; performing analysis and completing reports to measure project success and impact to business Manage reporting and analytics for Digital Banking partners Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical partners to establish trends, understand performance, identify opportunities for growth, and provide actionable insights Develop and produce data assets using business acumen, statistical, and visualization techniques Develop and produce analyses, reports, and insights for partners that help drive tactical, operation, and/or strategic decision making in support of Digital Banking goals Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and operational teams to implement quality controls and automate data feeds and report generation. Present results to marketing and business line stakeholders and help implement real data-driven changes Champion data literacy, data analytics, and data-driven marketing and decision making Enable self service Document business processes, reporting requirements communication, and metrics definitions
University education in Business, Computer Sciences, Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing fundamentals such as the strategies behind SEM/SEO, remarketing, targeted display, affiliates Excellent advanced analytical skills. Must be able to interpret and consolidate large amounts of information in actionable recommendations. Uses sound judgment in the creation of analysis, validation, interpretation, and presentation of findings; Strong experience building and publishing data visualization in Power BI, Tableau, D3, Tableau, QlikView, or other BI tools Experience developing offline and data driven attribution models is an asset Proven experience cleaning, transforming, and visualizing large data sets working with various data formats (e.g. unstructured logs, XML, JSON, flat files, CSV, etc) Strong Python programming skills with knowledge SQL, DB2 and SAS Strong project management and communication skills (both oral and written). Ability to manage process and planning, facilitate teamwork, and coordinate execution of multiple deliverables. Knowledge of banking products and reporting systems, including finance systems
