We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for a great manufacturing client in beautiful Chilliwack, BC. The Supply Chain Manager will improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current processes and implement efficiencies where needed. We are looking for an individual with great leadership and communication skills who is a hard-working, dedicated, self-starting, team player, and has a passion to lead. This position reports into the Director of Operations and there will be up to five people reporting into this position.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Leadership & mentorship for Logistics, Replenishment, Customer Service, Inventory Control & Demand Planning
  • Inventory planning to determine appropriate levels.
  • Maintaining an adequate inventory to meet customer demands while minimizing inventory risks
  • Manage inventory, supply planning and order fulfillment via third party warehouses in use
  • Manage weekly forecasts and replenishment planning for all material categories
  • Analyze seasonal inventory demand by examining the manufacturing capacity and understanding customer needs.
  • Actively participate in and assist with new product launches to ensure production to meet demand is viable from an inventory management perspective
  • Assist Operations, Sales, and Purchasing to mitigate risks of undesired long/short inventory positions
  • Learns, manages and aim to continuously improve relevant internal data and data flow; educates relevant staff with regards to Supply Chain
  • Assist and/or perform special projects and other duties

    • Requirements

    Requirements:

  • 5+ years supply chain management (Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing industry experience)
  • Working experience in the implementation or change of ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics or a relatable ERP System
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, Excel)
  • Comfortable and effective in dealing with Senior Leadership Team as well as mentoring direct reports
  • Passionate and a go getter!
