Are you ready to suit up?

We are currently seeking 3 Full time security guards to work for one of our industrial customers. As a security guard in the industrial sector, you will have to ensure impeccable customer service, control the access of the establishment, escort workers in certain departments and many other tasks. The site address would be 165 Dunlop Dr. Guelph. This is a full time position with 12 hour continental rotation based shifts. The hours would either be 1700-0500 or 1900-0700. Therefore, we are looking for guards who are comfortable working overnight shifts. The pay rate for this site is $16.50/hour for the first 3 months, and after completion of probationary period it would be $18/hour. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Access control through the computer system
  • Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers
  • Greet customers and register visitors as needed
  • Manage contractor access as well as access cards
  • Perform daily reports and incident reports
  • Act as first responder during events, crisis situations and emergencies
  • Perform surveillance rounds
  • Occasionally escort maintenance in restricted areas
  • Unlock and lock certain areas during monitoring rounds and via Lenel systems
  • Escort employees late at night, to their car in the parking lot

  • Valid Security Guard licence
  • 24/7 availability
  • Valid first aid card
  • Security experience
