POSITION OVERVIEW:

Western Forest Products’ is hiring for a Contractor Dryland Sort Supervisor at our Beaver Cove Dryland Sort, as part of Western’s Englewood Forest Operations. 

Responsible for delivering overall production targets through the efficient management of the sorting process, the Supervisor, Production is dedicated to sound business practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, resulting in improved safety and environment performance, efficiency, quality, and profitability, as measured by Production Phase metrics.

This is a term, contract position, available immediately. Length of term to be determined. Please inquire for more information.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Forestry Operations in increasingly responsible roles;
  • High School diploma or higher;
  • Log scaling license considered an asset.
