We’re growing our leadership team! Reporting to the Medical Director (Canada), this part-time position (2 days per week) will be one of the key members of the Senior Clinical Team, supporting the work of our physicians and allied health professionals, and helping lead our innovative video-based clinical service across Canada. This will be our first remote-based Associate Medical Director position based in Alberta. Type:

The Opportunity: We currently have over 160 physicians providing clinical coverage 7 days per week to patients in BC, AB, SK, and ON, as well as a team of NPs and allied health professionals. This position supports our healthcare providers by helping oversee our video-based clinical services in Alberta. In this leadership position, you’ll work with the national Medical Director to support the work of our Alberta clinicians, as well as contribute to improvements in our national clinical service delivery. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in the day to day management of a rapidly growing healthcare team that is committed to improving access to care for all patients across Canada. We’ll need you to participate in the out of hours clinical on call rota from time to time. You’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our patients and team members to gather feedback and elevate Canadians’ expectations of care. Our goal isn’t just to be a leading virtual care provider; but to become the leading provider of high-quality care in Canada.
What We're Looking For: You must be a fully-licensed physician eligible to practice medicine in Alberta. We’re looking for a family physician (CCFP) who has been practicing for at least 5 years. Previous leadership experience in healthcare. You may be called upon, at times, to be the voice of Babylon Canada in the media and in interactions with external stakeholders.
