Your new company
You will be working for a local Property Management company who due to grown are looking to hire a General Manager. This company have been expanding over the lats few years and have continued to do so through the Pandemic. They haven't laid any staff off through the pandemic and have actually continued to add staff.
Your new role
You will be responsible for over seeing the property management, leasing and operations side of the business. You will have several direct reports including 4 Property Managers, Leasing staff and the Operations Supervisor. This is now a position with a portfolio of your own but will be supporting and assisting the running of the entire portfolio. You will be coordinating with the leasing department and the operations department to ensure a fluid communications.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have extensive experience as a Property Manager/General Manager/Director ideally with a retail portfolio, but office or industrial will also be considered. You must have proven leadership abilities, having experience of leading, developing and mentoring staff. You will have a good understanding of the leasing and operations duties and be able to communicate effective with all departments to ensure a smooth internal operation. A collaborative, proactive and supportive person would be well suited for this role. A RECA License is required for this position, however for the right person without one, you must obtain it within 6 months of commencement.
What you'll get in return
