Mark Anthony Group (MAG) Finance is undergoing an important evolution to enhance our accounting, FP&A, analytics and treasury to support global growth of our business. We are seeking a Senior Director, Solutions Delivery, Finance to partner with our Finance organization to define target operating model design for the company’s Financial systems landscape and business processes. You will be critical in evaluating ERP capabilities and will co-lead ERP finance track during the ERP implementation.

This role is based in Vancouver, B.C.

What You Will Do:

Strategic Planning

  • Provide thought leadership to the creation and implementation of the process and technology vision, strategy, operating model and roadmap of MAG’s global finance organization
  • Drive alignment and active sponsorship with MAG Finance and business stakeholders
  • Proactively advise the finance leadership team on the platforms, emerging technologies and digital trends that are most relevant to their goals and evolving needs
  • Help determine capital investment parameters, priorities and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize the return on investment
  • Finance Solutions Delivery

  • Lead target operating model design for the company’s Financial systems landscape and finance business processes
  • Lead IT enablement of target operating model by continually evaluating chosen ERP capabilities and niche bolt on solutions that will drive efficiencies and result in a best-in-class finance operation
  • Continually deep dive on finance operations across areas including Accounting, Payroll, FP&A, Analytics and Treasury to identify automation and enhancement opportunities that drive efficiencies
  • Leverage experience in opportunity identification by mapping current state processes and designing the target automated operating model for in scope finance functions
  • Transition from legacy finance operation processes to target model platforms and processes
  • Lead the design, selection, development, implementation, and administration of the organization's financial systems, platforms and supporting applications
  • Lead solutions delivery to conduct technology and business analysis, scoping and design to meet business requirements
  • Represent for finance both the tactical and strategic choices over the course and phases of ERP, Data Strategy, EPM/CPM tools, reporting and consolidations into sustainment and stabilization of these tools and change in process maturity
  • Communicate and realize value from implementing both quick wins and mid/longer term initiatives
  • Develop and lead a collaborative program or project management to effectively initiate, plan, schedule, control, and bring to closure multiple high priority projects with support from project managers assigned by PMO
  • Leadership

  • Foster a strong partnership mindset throughout the solutions delivery team, while championing thought leadership
  • Ensure, on an ongoing basis, that current and planned technical architecture, investments and solutions are aligned with company business objectives
  • Build strong relationships with business groups and their leaders across the enterprise, and develop a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges and opportunities
  • Ensure transparency and collaboration between the IT organization and its business partners
  • What You Have:

  • A minimum of 10 years leading ERP/ platform with heavy focus on finance business process improvements and transformation
  • Experience leading complex, major transformation initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management
  • Experience building an enterprise level financial data analytics capability
  • Experience developing and supporting finance applications
  • Working knowledge of system architecture, technical design, and system and software development technology
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, computer science or a related field
  • An MS, MBA or related advanced degree is preferred
