  • Our team of major and strategic projects Northern Canada is looking for a project manager to join a solidly experienced team. You will have to plan, organize and control the different steps of Phases I and II of environmental assessment studies and remediation.

    Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and control the different steps of the evaluation and environmental characterization study (Phases I and II);
  • Proceed to the financial assessment and the technical evaluation of a rehabilitation project with a logistic component;
  • Train, coordinate and supervise field technical teams and local labor (ex. First Nations workforce);
  • Analyze and interpret field data;
  • Write technical reports;
  • Manage the project spacific health and safety program;
  • Manage the internal communication of the project as well as with clients and suppliers;
  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure the good execution of project operations – accountability;
  • Plan and respect project budgets and timelines;
  • Perform any other related tasks.
  • Qualifications

  • University education in Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science or equivalent;
  • 5 years of relevant experience working as a Project Manager;
  • Experience in the environmental field and Northern environment will be considered an asset;
  • To be able to communicate perfectly in both languages French and English (oral and written);
  • Be mobile and willing, at specific times of the year, to stay on site for a period of 1 to 4 weeks;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • ;
