Our team of major and strategic projects Northern Canada is looking for a project manager to join a solidly experienced team. You will have to plan, organize and control the different steps of Phases I and II of environmental assessment studies and remediation.
Responsibilities Plan, organize and control the different steps of the evaluation and environmental characterization study (Phases I and II); Proceed to the financial assessment and the technical evaluation of a rehabilitation project with a logistic component; Train, coordinate and supervise field technical teams and local labor (ex. First Nations workforce); Analyze and interpret field data; Write technical reports; Manage the project spacific health and safety program; Manage the internal communication of the project as well as with clients and suppliers; Manage internal and external resources to ensure the good execution of project operations – accountability; Plan and respect project budgets and timelines; Perform any other related tasks.
University education in Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science or equivalent; 5 years of relevant experience working as a Project Manager; Experience in the environmental field and Northern environment will be considered an asset; To be able to communicate perfectly in both languages French and English (oral and written); Be mobile and willing, at specific times of the year, to stay on site for a period of 1 to 4 weeks; Must have a valid driver’s license; ; Good judgment and analytical skills.
