Assist writing proposals and establishing financial budgets

Perform project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)

Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions

Review and report on project mock-ups

Perform periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items

Perform field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)

Assist in small project management and coordination

Participate in continuing education

Periodic out of province travel

Perform various office related tasks

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field

Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus

Minimum 2 years of experience in building science or a related field

General knowledge of building science principles or building envelope components is a plus

Experience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plus

Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects

Ability to work in a team environment

Strong customer service commitment

Excellent verbal and written communication in English
