The impact you’ll make

We are building Canada’s #1 online grocery service, allowing customers to shop in more ways (think web, apps, voice…) and receive their groceries when, where and how they want (think delivery, condos, Go stations, Shoppers locations…). This journey will be transformational not just for us, but all Canadians. As the Senior Manager, Customer Insights and Advanced Analytics supporting our online grocery business, you will leverage your expertise and experience in predictive analytics, forecasting and customer analytics to improve customer experiences by delivering personalized, effective and automated customer communications. You will work with cross functional teams in acquisition, migration, web analytics, data science, and operations to develop robust and automated marketing solutions tackling a multitude of exciting challenges including customer acquisition, customer migration & retention, personalization, as well as demand forecasting and experimentation. What you'll do

  • Be accountable to the co-creation and ongoing refinement of customer-centric predictive model roadmap, servicing acquisition, migration and demand planning
  • Establishing key milestones and deliverables of predictive models leveraging massive amount of data (think loyalty, digital, behavioral and transactional data)
  • Managing development of personalization engine to deliver personalized communications and to imp customer loyalty
  • Managing development of optimization engine to programmatically create the most effective and efficient campaign
  • Improving demand forecasting accuracy through data enrichment and machine learning models
  • Leading statistical, quantitative and modeling analysis to tackle complex business questions 
  • Delivering solution presentations, communicating insights, and strategic and operational recommendations to internal stakeholders to influence business decisions
  • Working closely with internal team and product team to embed predictive models into marketing and product roadmap
  • Does this Sound like you?

  • You have 8 years of experience in developing customer level predictive marketing solutions within a high growth organization
  • Proven leadership in managing high performance team
  • Experienced in delivering machine marketing optimization, personalization and a/b testing and measurement
  • Experienced in managing development of machine learning models, statistical models, personalization and forecasting model (for example, propensity, CLV, attrition, clustering/segmentation and time series forecasting)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively work with cross functional teams at multiple levels of the organization 
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced user of Python/R, SQL, PySpark and other analytical tools.
  • Experience with Cloud technology such AWS/GCP is preferred 
  • Experience in PM and knowledge of agile is a great asset
