We are looking for a qualified Engineering Planning Coordinator for our Ottawa, ON office. Note that this position will be located in Gatineau, PQ.
The Engineering Planning Coordinator is responsible for managing SSMRS (Standard Ship Maintenance and Repair Specification) configuration control; SDRs (Specification Deficiency Reports); chairing bi-weekly meetings, providing technical administrative support to staff and providing translations of technical documents. Your experience working with Engineering projects will serve you well in this role!
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration
  • Years of experience required: 3 years in the last 5 in planning, tracking, reporting, and coordinating engineering projects
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian government security clearances

    • Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:

  • Maintaining SSMRS’s including proper and concise formatting, updating, and indexing
  • Support managers and staff with proper formatting, providing briefings and assist in preparation for briefings, assist with translations and other technical administrative tasks as required
  • Populate database with changes, status updates and approvals
  • Generate bi-weekly meeting agenda from past discussions and review of action items
