6 month contract with potential to be extended long term Roles and Responsibilities Leads and helps coordinate the internal and external recruitment efforts Leads the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position within key client areas Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting Writes job postings and posts openings on the intranet, on the website, in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues Develops interview questionnaires, job testing as applicable. Reviews and screens applications to match experience with job related requirements Schedules interviews. Creates interview packages for panel members. Participates on interview panels. Provides hiring managers with advice related to candidate selection. Administers pre-employment tests and conducts reference checks. Liaises and negotiates rates with employment agencies as needed. Develops salary recommendations based on internal equity Prepares employment contracts Provides successful candidates with employment offers Notifies unsuccessful candidates and provides feedback as needed Coordinates student placements and interns, including liaising with universities, screening, correspondence and scheduling interviews Represents the organization at career fairs as needed Networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees Coordinates the comprehensive orientation and onboarding process; continually updating session contents based on employee feedback and operational requirements. Provides general HR support for the team as needed Qualifications and Experience
Human Resources certificate or equivalent post-secondary education in recognized Human Resources accreditation.
Minimum 2 years’ experience doing full scope recruitment
Bilingualism an asset.
Experience using an ATS (i.e. BambooHR) is an asset
Highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills
Excellent project management skills to ensure timely completion of recruitment mandates
Excellent written communication skills to respond to candidate inquiries
Complex problem-solving skills; ability to develop unique solutions; comprehension of highly complex material
Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Tact and diplomacy to deal with candidates
High level of confidentiality
Ability to work well in a small, dynamic and highly motivated team
