The Opportunity

Clean Harbors Montreal Region is looking for Dredging and Dewatering Technicians to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems. Position may require travel away from home up to 50%.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Operates centrifuges and electric dredges;
  • Maintains centrifuges and dredges;
  • Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment;
  • Performs general duties required to complete work, such as: debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.;
  • Completes all required paperwork.
  • What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Class 5 Driver’s License required;
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work away from home up to 50% of the time;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to perform repairs on equipment;
  • Experience with centrifuges systems and dredges considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism in French and English considered an asset.
