What will you be doing?
Avigilon’s analytic based, video surveillance software interfaces to a variety of Avigilon and 3rd party cameras, and other sensors. The cameras range in functionality from fisheye to pan-tilt-zoom models. Most of them also perform video analytics, detecting objects like people and vehicles. Other sensors detect motion, loitering, etc. This job position is to include support for these cameras and sensors in our ACC video surveillance software product.As part of a scrum team, you will design and deliver features to the market.Working on technologies that save lives, secure property, and make the world a safer place.Learning a variety of technology stacks to solve complex problems.Working with a variety of developers to address a diverse collection of market applications.Learning, growing, and contributing as part of an autonomous team.
We want you to succeed, so you’ll need:A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.Demonstrated C++ design and programming ability.Strong knowledge of real-time, multithreaded operating systems, applications and concepts.Knowledge of IP networking applications and concepts.A desire to learn, grow, and contribute.

When you join us, the technologies and processes you’ll be working with include:C++ v11/v14 in a Windows or Linux Environment.Test Driven Development.Digital video and audio encoding in various formats like H264, H265, and mp4.Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working with the .NET Core framework.Agile Scrum.Experience with ONVIF is also an asset
University degree or equivalent work experience.
