Position Summary

Cambrian College’s School of Information Technology requires casual Course Developers to develop course outlines, syllabus, teaching and learning material, as well as a Moodle meta shell for the Game Design program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Course development will be required for various courses including:

  • Game Design
  • Game Psychology
  • Game Engines
  • 2D and 3D Modelling
  • Game Mechanics
  • Qualifications


  • Must have a three-year postsecondary advanced diploma or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
  • Five years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in course development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess good organizational skills and sound computer software skills.
  • Additional Assets/Preferred: 

  • Experience working within a postsecondary environment.
