Nasdaq is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to join a small, highly collaborative team and create the next generation of financial services data products. You’ll work on real-world problems in a dynamic environment with talented team members to deliver software products in the cloud.

•Participate in all phases of software life cycle including architecture, technical design, implement, test, and launch
•Contribute towards overall quality, scalability, system performance, or security of shared services components.
•Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, implement new functionality and drive continuous improvements

The Nasdaq Fund Network (NFN) facilitates the collection and dissemination of performance, net asset value (NAV), valuation, and strategy-level reference data for over 35,000 investable products to 100 million plus investors. We aim to be the premier, global, retail platform that facilitates asset managers' ability to attract investors into their investment products and strategies.
 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in early stage of projects in defining the platform for the next generation data products
  • Develop cloud-native systems from ground up using a modern technology stack
  • Build user interfaces, APIs, processing pipelines, and data stores
  • Collaborate with product managers to transform requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions
  • Be a self-starter, innovative and always looking for new ways to contribute to the team
  • Develop experiments to validate new product ideas
  • Work in small, highly technical teams employing CI/CD and Agile/Scrum practices.
     
  • Experience

  • 4+ years professional experience as a software engineer
  • Experience with public cloud offerings (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proficiency in Python and a Python web framework (Django, Flask, etc.)
  • JavaScript and a JavaScript web framework (React, Ember, Vue, etc.)
  • Design and implementation of scalable web services in the cloud
  • Familiarity with containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration and delivery
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong interpersonal skills
