Express Employment Professionals Cloverdale/Langley's client in the Port Kells industrial park of Surrey, BC. Founded in 1996 in Langley, BC and remaining a Canadian headquartered Company. They have grown from a regional Injection Molder to a respected global manufacturer. They are looking to add 2 production operators to their growing team. This shift will run from 630am - 500pm while you are learning the position (for 1 month) then it will change to 8 hour shifts on either Days/Afternoons (1 each remaining). They do offer benefits upon hire (after 540 hours probation).
They are looking for Machine operators for injection molding. This is Light work, sitting, standing, QC on small plastic products, no box or product will ever be over 20 pounds. you are standing at the opening of the machine, as pieces are made you do light assembly, and/or box them up to be shipped. training provided.
Successful candidates will be:
- able to take direction and follow instruction
- able to sit and stand without discomfort
- able to comprehend and communicate in English is an asset (but not a requirement)
- able to complete simple documentation
- attentive and able to tolerate repetitive operations
- have a good attention to detail
- willing to learn
- reliable and punctual
- able to get steel toed shoes (all other PPE is provided)
Positions are full time and will be come permanent for the right fit.
This facility can be considered transit accessible however depending where you are coming from the shift time may conflict (it is also a 14 minute walk from bus stop)
