Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our consulting practice has an opening for a Salesforce Application Support Specialist, for our client, a Big 5 Bank.

Client: Big 5 Bank

Location: Currently remote, Post COVID, Downtown Toronto, Ontario

Terms: 12 month Contract – can convert FTE if you want

  • Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Salesforce implementation for retail domain, moving 13 Lines of business to Salesforce, Azure is on the back end
  • Provide application support on infrastructure side
  • Troubleshooting
  • Required Skills

  • > 1 year of experience coding, developing and automating scripts on Salesforce
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and determine service impact
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Interested in learning dev ops / Azure Data Factory
  • Nice to Have Skills (Lab experience is fine)

  • Experience building and implementing a pipeline in Jenkins automating processes in devops pipelines writing batch jobs Supporting Tomcat, apache Comparing differences between two files Certificate management, i.e. if JBOSS or Weblogic expiring, manage this Creating images for containers Create scripts or queries in monitoring tools, i.e. Splunk Use commands to fix problems in linux server
  • Azure Service fabric, Azure Data factory, Azure Devops
  • PowerShell, C#, CAS, Openshift, Jenkins, Pega
  • Linux or Unix
  • Interview Process: One and done interview with the hiring manager
