About the job
We are looking for human resources advisors, in staffing, for various positions at the HR/RH-02, 03 and 04 levels (PE-01, 02 and 03 equivalent). The mission of our dynamic team, HR Operations, is to contribute to the Agency's business objectives by providing innovative and integrated solutions in staffing. We offer the National HR Apprenticeship Program (NHRAP), which includes learning and development, as well as two promotions up to the HR/RH-04 level (equivalent to PE-03 in the core). We work closely with our clients in the National Capital Region as well as across the country, to provide informed strategic opinions and advice.

For HR/RH-02 (PE-01) positions
Substantive HR/RH-02 employees (or equivalent) of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or substantive PE-01 employees (or equivalent*) of the Federal Public Service (organizations found under Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act),
For HR/RH-03 (PE-02) positions
Substantive HR/RH-03 employees of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or substantive PE-02 employees (or equivalent*) of the Federal Public Service (organizations found under Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act),
For HR/RH-04 (PE-03) positions
Substantive HR/RH-04 employees of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or substantive PE-03 employees (or equivalent*) of the Federal Public Service (organizations found under Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act),
AND eligible veterans and Canadian Forces members
*Human Resources Professionals within an organization that has a different classification system (for ex. Communications Security Establishment Canada, Canadian Security Intelligence Service, etc.) are included.

This process may be used to staff positions in Ottawa, Ontario and if you are selected, we may expect you to relocate. Virtual reporting may be possible, if operational requirements permit. In the present COVID-19 environment, greater consideration will be given to this option.

The eligibility for a recognized professional designation relevant to CRA business.
For the purpose of the HR/RH education standard, a certification in a human resources discipline is a certification earned from a government body in a specific human resources discipline, for example, the Public Service Commission’s Staffing or Classification Certification Program.
Whenever the minimum education standard is met, including through an approved alternative, it is met for all positions in the HR/RH occupational group within the CRA, unless the position being staffed requires a higher level of education than the minimum standard.
Acquired rights
Permanent incumbents of the PE or HR/RH group who, on October 1, 2009, did not meet the minimum education standard are deemed to have met the minimum education standard based on their education, training and/or experience.

*Experience is normally associated with the performance of these functions as part of the major job duties accomplished for a period of not less than 12 cumulative months.
