The Opportunity

:

The Program Management Office, Chief Legal Officer (PMO, CLO) is developing a team of professionals that possess a combination of experience including:

  • Strategy and Leadership
  • Risk Management and Compliance
  • Business Continuity, Crisis Management
  • Research
  • Communication

    • One of the key objectives of PMO, CLO is to manage our Company’s COVID-19 oversight program, which will include interacting with key business stakeholders, human resources, facilities, safety and security, and the broader legal and corporate development function.

    COVID-19 Oversight includes:

  • Advising, informing and executing strategy in a COVID-19 environment
  • Recommending and implementing related policies
  • Managing safe return to workplace protocols
  • Ensuring global situational awareness
  • Managing internal operational challenges, and oversee case management globally

    • You Are Great At:

  • Support communications requirements within a cross-functional team overseeing the COVID-19 Response & Recovery for all OpenText global offices.
  • Apply communications best practices to COVID-19 Response and Recovery efforts
  • Develop time-sensitive written communications for COVID-19 Response and Recovery efforts as needed, as well as for other CLO programs
  • In partnership with the Employee Communications team, author and edit content for a variety of internal communications channels
  • Organize and host virtual town halls as necessary
  • Ensure content alignment with corporate messaging and company brand, voice and design standards
  • Understand the Executive vision, goals and objectives and communicate to the appropriate teams.

    • What It Takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or related field
  • 5+ years in an internal communications role, or equivalent, with a mid-sized to large multi-national organization
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing within an internal communications function
  • Ability to develop clear and effective content under tight deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects, in a fast-paced, ever-changing, global organization
  • Ability to effectively develop relationships with partners of all levels throughout the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Follows through, delivers results, and meets deadlines
