Our client is looking for an experienced Applied Data Scientist to join their growing team. The Role:
  • Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
  • Code, test, and document new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics
  • Build and optimize ML models and pipelines, and evaluating their performance
  • Understanding business objectives and developing AI solutions that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
  • Process, cleanse, verify and work with data from multiple sources
  • Work with the data team to access and understand internal and external data sources
  • Develop algorithms and build models to solve business problems. Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and track the value of the solutions
  • Work with management and application architect to enhance data collection procedures
  • Collaborate with business team to derive high value insights from client data
  • Collaborate with Data engineers to integrate pipelines into our proprietary applications
  • Bring your great ideas for new products and features to the Development team
The ideal Candidate:
  • A MS in CS, Machine Learning or in a highly quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience (academic or industrial) in predictive modeling and large data analysis.
  • Prior experience with NLP, Sentiment Analysis, Deep Learning or Pattern Recognition would be an asset
  • Proficiency with analytics scripting languages such as Python, R, and SQL
  • Comfortable using Tensorflow/ PyTorch
  • Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Ability to design and present complex data sets in a variety of visually compelling formats
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organizational, and trouble-shooting skills
