Position Overview:

We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. This role will support HR Operations, Immigration, and Global Mobility. You will act as the first point of contact for related queries from employees and internal and external clients in the United States and Canada. In this position, you will report to the Head of HR Shared Services for the Americas with dotted line reporting to the Global Mobility & Immigration Program Manager.

As part of the HR Shared Services team for the Americas, your primary duties include interacting with employees and clients, updating internal and external HR systems, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and supporting HR programs. Our ideal candidate has experience with multiple HR systems and procedures, and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees and clients while conforming to labor laws.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. regulations and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate HRMS data (to drive all workflow).
  • Administer all aspects of the New Hire, Termination and Life Cycle processes.
  • Meet and/or exceed all established service delivery standards.
  • Interact with Business Partners, Business Unit Management, Finance, Payroll, IT, Legal and the Global Delivery Centers to support corporate initiatives.
  • Support and administer HR initiatives (e.g. Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, HRIS, Talent Management, Global Delivery Center, Immigration, Global Mobility).
  • Qualifications

    Skills & Knowledge:

  • Must be thoroughly fluent in both English and French (speaking, writing, reading)
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Extreme attention to detail for data processing
  • Comfortable using and learning new HR technologies
  • Maintains confidentiality, remains open to other’s ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays and unexpected events
  • Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Experience & Education:

  • 5+ years of work experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience with HRIS/HRMS applications. Oracle HCM Cloud experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Canada and U.S. labor laws preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • Experience with Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and ServiceNow applications highly desirable
  • Experience with U.S. and Canada immigration requirements highly desirable
