BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

As Benefits Administrator you will handle user inquiries about variety of insurance products. You will also complete administrative functions and maintain a variety of supporting documentation. If you can get excited about both the customer service and administrative aspects of insurance, this role is for you!

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Address benefits questions and issue via phone (25 to 50% of the role):
– Answer inquiries about benefits coverage, including health, dental, and life insurance
– Troubleshoot user issues with the online portal
* Benefits administration (50 to 75% of the role)
– Process client remittances
– Prepare and send welcome letters
– Walk through benefits sign-up process
– Provide support for escalated user issues
– Maintain accurate and complete electronic records
* Assist with planning and hosting events, when safe
* Eventually conduct training and assist people in returning to the office

MUST HAVES
* 2 to 5 years of experience in insurance and/or benefits administration
* Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Knowledge of Greenshields and/or benefits adjudicator would be a strong asset
* Driven work ethic
* Strong relationship management abilities
