Information Management Officer - Work Remotely
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the provision of information management (IM) and records management services;
  • Provide operational support to the management and staff;
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required

  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Completion of a college diploma in Records/Information Management;
  • Two years of experience providing front-line client services;
  • Two years of experience working in an IM lifecycle records management environment;
  • Experience in the following:
  • Using records management systems;

    - Extensive experience using GcDocs;
    - Providing administrative services;
    - Analyzing, classifying, coding, indexing and cross-referencing subject content of documents.
  • Knowledge of:
  • IM principles, program components, and related legislation and regulations;

    - IM and Records Management policies, standards and practices;
    - Function based classification systems;
    - Retention and disposition practices;
    - Security classifications.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Language profile: Bilingual (BBB)

  • Education and Certifications
    Preferred field of study: Information Management
