Student Works Painting is looking for Painters & Crew Chiefs!

We are a local painting company that has been operating in Canada for the past 30 years. We are looking for students and young adults to join our painting team in South Burnaby and surrounding areas for this upcoming 2021 season (May to August). We're recruiting individuals that are highly motivated, reliable, independent, enjoy working outdoors, and would like to be paid based on performance. We specialize in Interior & Exterior, Commercial & Residential Painting. If this sounds interesting, please through the ad completely.

We are looking for FULL-TIME employees to work Monday – Friday. This job is ideal for individuals looking for summer work. No experience necessary as full safety and paint training will be provided; however, experience is an asset.

About the position:

Fun, fast-paced environment gaining hands-on experience in customer service and communication. Working outdoors with a crew of 2-3 people.

Working with friends is encouraged, so apply together if you wish.

Both positions are full-time hourly summer jobs and can lead to future promotion opportunities within the company.

Painter: This role is a fun and challenging position that is ideal for someone wanting to get hands-on experience and make money over the summer. The ideal individual is hard-working, coachable, and has effective communication skills.

Crew Chief: In addition to painting, in this role, you would gain experience in leadership and would run a crew of 2-3 people. Ask to be considered for this if you feel you may be a good fit.

Requirements:

-Must have access to a vehicle full time

Hours:

-We are looking for FULL-TIME employees

Start Date: Early May

End Date: End of August – Early September

Weekdays: 8am - 5pm Weekends: Sometimes required

Compensation:

-Paid based on performance, approximately $17 - $27 per hour

-Extra bonuses to be paid throughout the summer
