The role of the Marketing Specialist is to utilize customer & industry insights, historical trends and published content to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies, campaigns and programs that deliver results aligned to key business objectives.
In accordance with the marketing plan, you will be accountable for Engagement and Retention marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for Info-Tech Research Group and McLean & Company members.
Key Responsibilities: You should have a strong grasp of current marketing automation tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated marketing programs from concept to execution. You will collaborate with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as development), and agencies to launch campaigns and programs on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Develop & Deploy Member Lifecycle Marketing Campaigns and Programs
Brainstorm new and creative engagement and retention strategies.
Plan, develop and execute marketing programs and campaigns to support engagement and retention strategies of our existing members throughout the lifecycle; activation, onboarding, education, renewal, etc.
Work closely with sales teams to ensure campaign and program understanding and drive results.
Reporting & Insights
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and programs and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Follow a test & learn approach, including documenting the testing plan and reporting on all tests and outcomes.
Identify trends and insights of existing database to drive campaigns and programs, and improve performance based on insights.
Competencies/Key Selection Criteria
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Strategy, or a related field.
3-5 years proven experience working in a performance marketing environment.
Experience with strategic campaign and program management, development, and execution in a B2B environment.
Experience with B2B lifecycle programs across various stages of the lifecycle (i.e. onboarding, renewal).
Customer centric, with a strong ability to understand customer insights and from them, drive campaign and program recommendations.
Strong stakeholder management and understanding of the needs of stakeholders at various levels and functions in the organization.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking including advanced skills in Excel.
Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-project environment.
Excellent communicator and project manager who can adhere to strict deadlines.
Strong writing capabilities, specifically with B2B sales emails.
Experience with SFDC – reporting, campaign configuration, and dashboard creation.
Hands on experience with marketing automation platforms including Pardot (Gainsight is an asset).
Experience with A/B and multivariate tests.
Working knowledge of CASL and other Anti-Spam legislations
