[ Link removed ] Job DescriptionAcciona Agua Canada Inc. is looking for a MEICA Site Installation Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the job of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and business services contractors on site, during the installation phase.Coordinate the jobs with the different contractors on a daily basis to avoid interferences.Supervise and control the IFC documentation shared with the contractors on site.Supervise the installation of specific and critical pieces of equipment, such as: raw sewage vertical turbine pumps, low pressure gasholder, digested sludge centrifuge, drum thickeners, cogeneration units, hyperbolic mixers, chain & flights sludge collectors, turbo blowers and stand-by diesel generators.Analyze the change proposals to the IFC due to work on site and follow up with the Engineering Team and EoR.Manage of the approved red marks to the IFC drawings.Manage the reception of the documentation from the vendors received along with the delivery of the pieces of equipment, until it is transferred to the QA/QC Team.Coordinate the communication with the logistics team, for the reception of the equipment on site.Collaborate to get the Mechanical Completion Certificate prior to start the Pre-Commissioning Phase.Collaborate in the Equipment Checkout and Functional testing phase, prior to start the Commissioning Phase.Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager during the Operational, System and Acceptance Testing phase up to obtain the Acceptance Certificate from the client.Understand Client’s expectations and ensure strict compliance to scope of works to minimize potential contract deviations and departures.Ensure that a strong link is maintained with process design groups and that ACCIONA Agua systems and methodologies are adhered to, maintained and developed.Promoting a culture of ‘no injury or harm to people’ and leading by example.Consulting and communicating with all personnel on WHS matters, procedures, instructions, etc.Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities outlined in ACCIONA Agua’s Integrated Management System.Other BenefitsRelocation AllowanceHousing Allowance20 days paid vacation per yearContract type: 2 yearsFull time, 8 hours per day 40 hours per weekExtended Medical Benefits (dental, vision, long/short term disability, life insurance) Required Skills and CompetenciesExperience in complex industrial projects.10+ years’ experience in Installation of Waste Water Treatment Plants.Previous experience of installation of all the following pieces of equipment:Raw Sewage Vertical Turbine PumpsLow Pressure GasholderDigested Sludge Centrifuge decanter.Drum ThickenersCogeneration UnitsHyperbolic MixersChan&Flights sludge collectorsTurboblowersStandby Diesel Generators Strong written and verbal communication skills.Able to adapt and respond quickly to rapidly changing demands within the organization.Demonstrated capacity to work both autonomously and within the team environment; use initiative; solve problems through analytical thinking; & make decisions within an intense construction environment.Demonstrated capacity to influence outcomes.Demonstrated capacity to develop and manage relationships.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce that is free of all forms of discrimination.
