TNG is currently seeking a District Manager to join our team in Durham, Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Merchandising, the primary responsibility of this position is to effectively manage Merchandising Supervisors and Merchandising Field staff for Walmart and CostCo stores in the Durham region (Pickering to Brockville) ensuring the company and account initiatives are carried out in a timely and effective manner. Roles and Responsibilities Establish, build and maintain a strong relationship within territory Ensure accounts are compliant, meeting various standards set out both internally and by chain head offices Provide feedback to various departments in regards to the correct/necessary distributions of product while working within any deadlines set Open/close stores, provide due diligence in regards to all related facets Renovate stores as directed by National Account Managers and following corporate direction Order and install fixtures through determining account requirements based on space and sales goals Utilize various programs via computer to review, analyze and accurately determine correct distributions and sell through for individual accounts Provide Business Reviews to key accounts in order to provide updates, education on product and address concerns Qualifying and meeting with prospective new customers with the goal of expanding sales within the territory Effectively manage geographical challenges within territory ensuring key accounts are visited regularly Use of reporting tools to record and manage activities on a daily basis Act as a liaison between operations, finance, distribution or our third party provider to ensure our best interests are always maintained and improved Staying up to date with current market place changes as well as both regional and national current events and trends which may affect the industry Skill / Knowledge Requirements: Prior Regional or District Manager experience Experience using computers and software (MS Office and CRM systems) Strong time management, organizational and decision making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Effective listening and problem solving skills 2-3 years of sales experience preferred CPSA Certified (or equivalent) is an asset Applying: TNG welcomes your interest in the above opportunity.
