Description:About the Firm/Role Forge Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced LAA to join a reputable Personal Injury law firm in Vancouver. Your Responsibilities Work within a team of one lawyer and two case managers Organize and maintain client files, with an emphasis on the electronic files Prepare correspondence and legal documents Coordinate dates for Examinations for Discovery, Hearings, and Trials Manage lawyer's calendar Schedule appointments for independent medical examinations Coordinate clients' attendances at independent medical examinations Assist with preparation for Examinations for Discovery, Hearings, Trials, and independent medical examinations Assist with document production and exchange Maintain an effective bring forward system Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the team Other administrative duties as assigned Ensure adherence to the firm's policy and procedures manual Ensure work area is tidy and clean at all times What You Bring Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or Diploma or equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 years plaintiff personal injury experience Good working knowledge of the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules as they apply to plaintiff personal injury cases Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus Superior verbal and written communication skills Impeccable telephone etiquette Software knowledge including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Case Management Software Superior organizational/document management skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage work responsibilities in an unstructured environment If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply, in confidence.
