The rapidly growing company is currently searching for a motivated team player for a full-time Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Controller, you play a key role in the Finance Shared Services team in the Company’s headquarters located in Gastown. You have recently obtained or are working towards a CPA designation. Your responsibilities will include: Doctors’ Pay calculation and preparationResponsible for business unit accounting related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close i.e. preparation of journal entries including accruals, adjusting entries, intercompany transactions, expense allocations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and balance sheet and income statement analysis, etc.Assisting in the preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRSAssisting with financial audit and liaising with the auditorsResearching and documenting technical accounting mattersDevelop and document processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Assisting with the preparation and tracking of budget and forecastsAssisting with billings and A/R collections as requiredPerform special projects and financial analysis as required Requirements: CPA student or recently designated with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experienceStrong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-taskTakes initiative and has strong interpersonal and team-building skillsSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and ExcelERP experience an assetFlexibility to assist with various tasks within the finance and operations environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills
