MaxSys is currently hiring a full-time R&D Operator III for a 1 year contract at our Ottawa, ON clients medical manufacturing facility.The shift is a Monday Friday and pay rate will be determined by qualifications and experience. General AccountabilityMonitor supplies required for R&D Light labs operation and update inventory to assure an uninterrupted supply for experimental work.Assist with EHS lab related initiatives such as chemical inventory control and participation in inspections.Assist with performing experiments, involving activities including cartridge testing, as required to support R&D project and other deliverables.Communicate as well as interface with and serve the needs of various stakeholders related to laboratory management. This requires a good deal of flexibility and the capacity to manage a fluctuating workload. Key Competencies Handling a large amount of work efficiently and effectively. Ensuring that work accomplished is accurate in all relevant aspects. Acquiring and demonstrating knowledge of safety and health procedures as they relate to the human resources of the organization. Effectively adapting to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and sudden or frequent changes in priority in order to accomplish objectives. Staying motivated even when faced with inevitable delays, setbacks, policy shifts and disappointment.
