As Supervisor, you will responsible for the consistent coordination and supervision of all camp programs. Our Supervisors work in cooperation with fellow staff members to run programs efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of service. You will meet daily with the Kids at Blue Assistant Manager to establish clear communication for activities, budget guidelines and performance objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible to maintain the daily payroll of the staff is correct and group lists are accurate, neat and maintained throughout the day and continue to support our camp spirit and culture so we are “creating memories again and again”.

  • WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Address, manage and document performance shortfalls as they happen
  • Conduct performance evaluations on all workers under his/her control and initiate plans to help motivate workers to achieve goals
  • Train and lead front line staff and ensure day-to-day operation and ongoing coaching and development are geared to deliver the highest degree of sales, service, safety and guest experience
  • Leverage and involve other departments as necessary
  • Develop and maintain SOP’S and other training documents
  • Coordinate theme weeks and special events relating to the program
  • Maintain safe, animated and clean space, both indoors and outdoors, for children in programs
  • Provide immediate response to product and service shortfalls
  • Provide staff with immediate feedback when performance issues and good work are observed
  • Be available to work with groups as necessary
  • Manage the “Employee and Guest Experience”
  • WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Current CPR and first aid certification
  • Previous supervisory, training, coaching, and performance management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent service recovery and conflict resolution skills in order to bring both guest and employee concerns to satisfactory closure
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Self-motivated
  • Confident completing all activities the children participate in
  • Minimum one year previous experience working with children
  • Knowledge of BMR trail networks and resort an asset
  • Successful candidates 18 years of age or older must provide a Vulnerable Sector Search
