Description:One of excel Top Client is looking for a an experienced Career Coach / Facilitator! This a new role for the team, so they are excited to have this help grow their team! Do you love identifying training required for occupations and skills in demand? Training such as hard, IT/Digital technical skills as well as soft skills, where the soft skills training will be delivered in-house and the technical training will be through a third-party(ies) vendors? If so this may be the role for you!!Roles and Responsibilities Working with the organisation e-learning specialists to develop learning objectives, customize curriculum and resources to meet the needs of the specific client group(s).Reviewing application and resumes of each client and or interviews each client to obtain employment history, educational background, skill level and career goals.Facilitating the development of each client’s training plan with clearly stated learning objectives.Facilitating discussions with each client to identify the training pathway to one of the occupations in demand best aligned to the client.Facilitating discussions with each client to identify the training pathway to one of the occupations in demand best aligned to the client.Facilitating work-readiness and career education through workshops, online discussion groups, webinars, presentations, events and one on one sessions customized to the target client group.Tailoring individual sessions (in person, by phone, online) to client needs. Coaching clients throughout the program.Ensuring that each employer and each intern submit monitoring reports and reports on progress in meeting learning objectives.Following-up with employers as to whether or not the employer plans to retain the Intern after the wage subsidy has concluded. Scheduling, organize and deliver employment workshop for those Interns that are not retained by the employer. Qualifications and Experience Over three years’ experience in education and training.Strong facilitation experience for remote or distance audiences.Experience in employment readiness training and understanding of the digital economy.Experience with utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS).Knowledge of a variety of instructional media including instructor-led, online, and virtual instructor-led training.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, or similar productivity tools.Strong attention to detail when creating, reviewing, and delivering content.
