Role Overview: The Senior Investment Negotiator is responsible for the overall execution and management of their assigned client's investment requirements, purchasing and monitoring all assigned campaigns to ensure all objectives are met. The role will include providing leadership, fostering teamwork, maintaining a level of involvement in all accounts in the group and encouraging the highest quality investment product and client satisfaction Key Accountabilities: Communicate buy changes to vendor reps e.g.: cancellations, shifts, brand changes Generate campaign reports - including pre and post documents Daily campaign maintenance Help the agency revenue through inventory Corporate estimating and posting Execution, confirmation and monitoring of investment buys Collaborate with Client Service team and other internal/external resources Collaborate with Manager in setting due dates for junior staff and ensuring deadlines are met Responsible for mentoring and training junior staff Use Mediacom Proprietary tool and other measurement software (Numeris) Compiling audit reports for clients working with third party auditors and Global audits Skills and Behaviour: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good organization, detail accuracy, and mathematical competency is a must Demonstrate solid technical and negotiating skills Ability to balance assignments while maintaining a flexible approach Demonstrates leadership and teamwork skills Active listening skills Positive disposition with ability to work under tight deadlines Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Powerpoint Advanced proficiency with MediaOcean, Infosys, & LENS, Airware, TV/ BBM and other media related tools Education and Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment buying Buying experience on all levels -Television - Conventional and Specialty Post-secondary degree/diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business or a related field.
