YOU MAIN FUNCTIONS
As Project Engineer, your main mandate will be to work in team with the electrical, mechanical and software teams, defining the requirements for the battery and power management system. You will also :
Design the power management system for the battery.
Define and track the overall battery BOM cost (mainly for electrical & electronics & software)
Define and track tooling, fabrication and Non-Recurrent costs for the battery and power management system.
Define and plan development schedules of the battery and power management system. Track changes and ensure its timely completion
Follow up with manufacturing & quality teams to ensure quality product fabrication.
YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS JOB IF:
You have at least 7 years of experience in electrical or electromechanical systems design
Hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering
You have experience in the management of engineering projects for mass produced products and multidisciplinary teams.
You have the ability to work in a project start-up environment with objectives that are in the process of being defined.
You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational & performance vehicles.
You master the product development cycle & stage gates.
You possess a deep understanding and ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles with each other.
You master French and English (written and spoken);
You have a deep understanding of multilevel Bill of Material hierarchy, including hardware and software components.
You demonstrate a deep sense organization, interpersonal skills, autonomy.
