Assemble, fit, and install manufactured components and sub-assemblies to form completed systemsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Essential tasks or functions that are fundamental to the job Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed systems (including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic). Assemble prototype custom equipment and complex systems and/or create and refine assembly procedures Determine assembly procedures through the interpretation of engineering drawings and schematics Ensure Husky's productivity and quality standards are met. Conduct root cause analysis and problem solve quality issues. May also provide field support to customers Drive continuous improvement initiatives and make recommendations to Engineers Cross train in other areas within the business as required. Transfer and share knowledge with other team members TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Proficiency in using basic hand tools, crane and forklift experience. Able to use, replace and maintain basic tooling Advanced knowledge and skills in more than one of the following areas: hydraulics, mechanics or electrical assemblies Able to lift minimum of 35 lbs Able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings as required Strong problem solving and customer relation skills QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or high school equivalency and mechanical aptitude required. College diploma or certificate in related studies preferredRELATED EXPERIENCE Approx. 5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing preferred
