Hide the map Contact Employer Description Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake conceptual and detailed design for all civil engineering projects, including roadway, highway, drainage, utilities, etc.Design with AutoCAD Civil 3D using alignments, profiles, corridors, and grading features.Process topographic survey data for design and draftingPrepare engineering drawings (plans/profiles, civil utilities, cross sections, details, and exhibits).Assist in the evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to site development projects.Plan, schedule, and analyze scope, staffing and budgeting.Assist in writing detailed engineering reports, specifications, calculations.Deliver project drawings to project managers within allocated budget and schedule.Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures in accordance with industry codes and standards. Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions.Review project plans and determine design feasibilities and constraints.Provide quality control of all design and drafting work associated with assigned projects.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelors degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in engineering and design.Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan (APEGS).Proficiency with computer assisted engineering and design software, including WaterCAD, WaterGEMs, PCSWMM or XPSWMM, HELP, HEC-RAS, and Autodesk Online Collaboration (BIM 360) an asset.Strong organizational skills, including effective management of multiple and conflicting priorities with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
