Description:Join the Client Operations Team, where we make housing affordability solutions easy. In this role, you will oversee administration and decisions relevant to underwriting, servicing and lending activities for the purpose of mitigating risks, optimizing client service and achieving corporate objectives. With your superior quality service to enhance the corporate image and maintain sound business relationships with industry clients, you will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada. Responsibilities: • Manage affordable housing program funding.• Reference person on matters affecting the financial statements, the understanding of accounting standards, and the accounting of financial items;• Improve, implement and recommended financial analysis processes as well as accounting requirements.• Analyze financial statements, budgets and other activities related to project viability.• Working with the various business lines on the sustainability of the portfolio and the creation of new units.• Work in a team environment and contribute to service standards and turnaround times.• Offer advice, support and alternative solutions to clients and stakeholders including the communication of key decisions, the interpretation of policies and the response to inquiries.• Participate in internal processes involving performance monitoring and quality assurance. Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in administration with CPA designation• At least two (2) years of experience in auditing and accounting and financial controls, in financial and property management or in social program management or any other combination of education and relevant experience.• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and their applications;• Strong ability to analyze financial statements of large organizations and assess their viability;• Strong knowledge of procedures, policies and regulations.• Ability to interpret program guidelines while providing input and making decision• Comfortable with various computer tools and applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.• Strong oral and written communication skills.• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Preferred Qualifications • Strong understanding of serviced client groups in Canada, including related legal documentation.• Sound knowledge of mortgage financing and social housing programs, default remedy and/or property administration.
