Description:Our Client, one of Canada’s leading full-service investment dealers is seeking a Corporate Actions and Settlements Administrator to join their Investment Operations team in TORONTO. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in Investment Operations functions in a self-clearing environment (IIROC). This is a full time permanent opportunity on-site (in the office) for a business week. All required health protocols are in place.Job DutiesProcess and reconcile various corporate action payments /receipts and deliverables;Download and distribute bulletins to review and notify advisors;Communicate with internal departments and third-party organizations including CDS, Transfer agents and DTCC;Deal with New Issues, Cusip setups and updates;Responsible for resolving problems as they arise with the receipts and deliveries;Investigate, resolve and respond in a timely fashion to issues that arise;Provide assistance and/or back up coverage support to other team members;Maintain department procedures;GIC purchasing/processing andKnowledge of warrants and stock options.SkillsAble to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization;Flexible and enjoys an environment where responsibilities include a variety of tasks which may vary depending on company needs;Strong organization skills and the ability to meet challenging deadlines;Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;Ability to work independently;Experience with Dataphile preferable;Minimum of two years’ experience in an investment industry back officeCompensationWe offer a competitive salary and group benefits program, and the potential for annual profit-sharing bonuses and equity participation.Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 8 hour shift with full benefit package, details provided with offer packageWork remotely: Temporarily due to COVID-19.
