Miles HR has an opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join a high performing and dedicated team for a minimum 4 month contract. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the general administrative, accounting functions and general HR functions, preparing for board meetings and the AGM, preparing events, general support of the CEO and responsible for the smooth day to day administration operations. Please note, this is a minimum 4 month contract and a work from home opportunity. The ideal candidate will have prior administrative and general accounting experience working in an office supporting multiple levels of employees and a board of directors. Additionally, you will coordinate online events, oversee general HR of a small staff and have excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities: Events & Administrative– Organize events, meetings, and web / zoom conferences. Speaker confirmation, logo for flyers/signage, coordination of details for events, event registration. Supervise, monitor and delegate work to administrative staff as needed. Maintain a system for the team to be able to locate and review any files or records. Organize onboarding programs for new employees. Ensure maintenance of all records, files and databasesAccounting - working together with the Bookkeeper, pay vendors, invoicing, create and maintain the office budget and other accounting duties as required Coordination – Respond to correspondence and inquiries.
