Job Summary

Under the direction of the IS Manager, the IT/IS co-op student is responsible for the assistance of 3 IT projects and where operationally needed.
  • Set up of Donated ComputersSet up 40+ computers at HQ (upgrade to win 10, go through the set up process, open ticket with IT provider, clean ready for deployment) Add RAM to 30 computers
  • Replacing thin stations with donated computers. Deployment. Travel to all sites Unplug thin client and replace with PC Set up printers.
  • Upgrade Windows 7 to 10 on site (existing computers)
  • Job Qualifications

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Enrolled in full-time or part-time studies for Information Systems or Information Technology Management (student must be eligible for Biotalent's Student Work Placement Program)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle as travel is required
  • Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance upon hire
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
