Description:Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Support to execute the Canadian Channel and Account product assortment plan for the Canadian Tire Group, Regions and Specialty, with a focus on Mens and Youth Apparel, that delivers target growth and strengthens Brand Health KPIs working in close co-operation with Sales, Buyers, Planning, Trade and BUs. Key Responsibilities: With guidance and support, work closely with category merchandising and sales, execute the product vision and proposition within channel ensuring brand and channel goals are met, with a focus on Mens and Youth Apparel. Within the identified channel, help execute and manage the optimum category/ product assortment to deliver against the agreed targets In conjunction with category, and sales, execute the account product strategy and roadmap Creation of a seasonal product roll out calendar incorporating all relevant categories and franchises Help drive sales and share growth, ensuring all commercial and strategic goals are met Manage the range proposition process from virtual download to sales launch including pre-line process ensuring smooth account interaction process Ensure share of space especially in key locations and doors In conjunction with the range architecture team, and sales execute the account product strategy and roadmap Understand range needs from all accounts within channels for the specific account Provide regular analysis of sell-through performance of all facets to the relevant category teams and contribute to strategic planning based on that analysis Manage in line product merchandising process for account Support and/or be the product marketing point of contact both internally and externally for relevant categories Manage and input the product proposition including retail price strategy, forecasting consolidation and phasing approach Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success of the range season over season Understand the retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies Secure visibility of account range proposition to BUs and global teams through systems management and communication process Within relevant channel ensuring that needs of B2B accounts are met Key Relationships: Category teams Sales teams Trade Planning Other CtC Channels Marketing Operations Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Professional maturity Collaborative with strong communication skills Influencing skills and ability to make fact-based decisions Strong analytical skills Structured, organized and process orientated Previous experience in Category Management or Merchandising/ Ranging/ SMU / Sales Business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global) Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising Experience or account marketing / sales: 1-3 years At adidas we have a winning culture.
