Senior BA required for Claims Management Software ReplacementOur Public Sector Transport client is preparing to replace its current Claims Management System, which is at the end of its lifecycle, to ensure continued support for management and evaluation of property and liability claims while meeting privacy and IT security standards.The project will onboard the client onto a new Claims Management solution, integrating with the existing internal systems. Project scope includes: RFP, vendor selection, product design, configuration, data migration, implementation, testing, training and change management deliverables. Roles and ResponsibilitiesDefine the business problem and primary objectives of new requests. Identify and validate high-level business requirements.Lead discussions with stakeholder groups to identify and analyze requirements using a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, use cases/scenarios, workflow analysis.Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into detailed functional and technical specifications.Document detailed business requirements and high-level system design using standard project methodology and coordinate requirement walk-throughs and sign-offs with business stakeholders.Work with staff and business stakeholders to document current as-is and future to-be business processes, using standard business process notation and diagramming methods.Perform fit-gap analysis, as required.Coordinate technology stakeholders to define solutions options and identify technology/service gaps.Evaluate potential technology solutions to ensure that they meet business requirementsPrepare and present decision documentation to key stakeholders for decision-making.Assist the project manager in developing and maintaining project plans, WBS, risks and issue logs and any other project planning materials, as required.Assist the project manager in developing status reporting materials.Support and/or lead the development of a Test Strategy and PlanDevelop Use Case Scenarios and evolve them into Test ScriptsIn consultation with various stakeholders, including Suppliers, develop and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix and ensure that the solution is delivered according to specifications.Support and/or lead User Acceptance Testing.Work with suppliers and other stakeholders to resolve conflicts around functionality, features, and specifications.Prepare materials to support change management, including Service Desk Knowledge Bases, revised support processes and operational handover materials.Support and/or lead the delivery of training to all affected users ranging from end-users to systemadministrators to analysts.Facilitate all BA-related communications and prepare and maintain relevant documentationWork with Change Group to conduct Business Impact Assessments, document communication plans, and training planDesign and deliver ongoing relevant stakeholder engagement activities to build awareness of the program and the business need for the project. Develop materials for the session(s) and monitor success. Develop communication and engagement material to support stakeholders to understand specific change impacts Qualifications and ExperienceMust have: 7+ years of functional and business analysis and process improvement experienceExperience in Insurance Claims and Risk Management system workflowsExperience with RFP process from client sideTraining and experience in best practice business analysis techniques and processesAbility to gather, analyze, and consolidate information from a variety of sources (i.e., documents, interviews, brainstorming sessions, etc.)Proven track record of working with business stakeholders to identify, assess, document and recommend solutions that meet requirements Nice to have: Experience working in a union, public sector environment is beneficialExperience delivering Organizations Change Management deliverables is an asset We’re an equal opportunities employer committed to increasing diversity and inclusion in today’s workforce.
