Job SummaryThe Manager, Delivery (Automated Solutions) is responsible for implementing technology in accordance with enterprise architecture roadmaps. Services provided include producing roadmaps, structuring and organizing design, development, engineering, and integration services, for delivery of operationally viable solutions (application, infrastructure, network or operational technology). This role involves mobilizing all necessary human and financial resources, while ensuring the development of technology solutions that satisfy performance, security, availability and reliability criteria, and operational requirements.The position is for the Operational Technology Automated Inspection Solution domain. Main ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery – 60 % Contribute to Delivery Proposals by providing resource and cost estimates based on business requirementsSupport the project manager manage Scope, Schedule and Budget. Act as the escalation path for the Project Manager Ensure the delivery of the expected scope and business value while managing effectively Stakeholder expectationsConfirm resources to work on projects or work with the designated resource managers to secure resourcesManages delivery team performance including vendor performance, if a vendor is involvedSupport the delivery team by addressing issues and roadblocks; determine appropriate resolution/solution through root cause analysis and impact analysisSupport Procurement and Supply Management to define new Statement of Work Leading Others – 20% Focus on communications and foster collaboration by encouraging teams to work together to accomplish common goalsManage employee performanceParticipate in succession planning by contributing to yearly talent review cycleSupport employee development and help employees reach career goalsEnsure knowledge is preserved through training and sharing of knowledgeWork with HR and Talent Acquisition for Recruitment needs Practice Evolution – 20 % Support Product Management define product roadmapsBuild and maintain stakeholder relationshipsReview and monitor performance metrics and proactively identify initiatives to improve delivery precision, quality and reduce costs Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT managementMinimum 5 years of technical experience in an infrastructure, telecommunications, or technology fieldExperience managing a team of at least 10 peopleExperience with complex integration projects involving multi vendor components and delivery organizationsExperience delivering Automated Solutions using Machine Learning is an asset Education/Certification/Designation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field of study, or equivalent work experienceAgile Coach or Scrum Master Certification*ITIL Certification*Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification* *Any designation for these above would be considered as an asset Competencies/Skills/Knowledge Strong understanding of systems engineeringVery good communication, influencing and presentation skills.
