Supplemental Health Insurance provided with premiums paid by the companyRetirement Savings Plan with Profit SharingGrowth OpportunitiesUniforms provided by Martin for shop employeesSafety bonus for qualifying employees What will you do?As a Machinist, you will control nearly every aspect of the manufacturing process by setting up the machines, ensuring proper maintenance, and operating to manufacture a quality product.Responsibilities: Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks.Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.Setup, operate and tend machines used to process components.Install machine fixtures to assure safe operation or machine.Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner.Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances using various measuring tools/equipment such as micrometers and calipers.Work in other areas or departments as assigned.To perform this job successfully, you must report daily to the company’s Mississauga Branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
