Description:Director of Sales - ORAmico Clinical Solutions - Richmond Hill, ON Company Profile Amico Corporation is a fast-growing medical equipment manufacturer and we are looking for a seasoned sales professional for a leadership position within our Clinical Solutions division. The Director of Sales is responsible for leading a sales team, selling, promoting and securing capital equipment sales in a designated territory. Major call areas focus primarily on promoting operating room equipment within institutional facilities (ICU, patient rooms, emergency department). Responsibilities: - Working out of the Richmond Hill office, the successful candidate will manage a geographical territory in the United States and/or Canada.- Training, mentoring and strategic leadership of a team of sales professionals.- Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.- Identifying strategic business opportunities to increase revenue and leading strategic sales plans to grow business into identified channels.- Tracking project processes alongside Project Management and Account Management teams.- Ability to understand simple 2D architectural drawings.- Participating in trade shows and conventions. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years experience managing a sales team.- Experience in the medical industry is an asset.- College or University education is preferred.- Hunter-type entrepreneurial mindset.- Innovator with strong communication skills.- Embrace and be comfortable with change.- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
