Description:Key Responsibilities:Perform all daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on electrostatic spray guns, pumps, robots, motors, and other electronic equipment to ensure optimum performance and utilization.Troubleshoot and repair, robotic, electrical, PLC, communication, fluid delivery, conveyors, motors, and pneumatic equipment.Verify and calibrate as directed in the total productive maintenance plan to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the process. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical equipment, hydraulics, mechanical, piping, pumps, and pneumatics.Support and lead the daily activities of reduction of product related defects, do to process, equipment or application.Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to prevent the occurrence of any downtime that can be avoided with proper preventative, predictive or continuous improvement ideas.Work with equipment suppliers to determine root cause of equipment failures and implement a permanent solutionMaintain Plant Facility during off shift when needed.Perform daily checks of all injection equipment.Ideal Requirements:College Diploma in Robotics or similar technical area of study (Centennial College, Humber College, Conestoga College, etc.)Previous automotive manufacturing and/or robotic experience is an asset.Siemens PLC platform a plus.Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial control an asset.Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical prints, Siemens, Allen Bradley PLC trouble shooting and diagnosis an assetKnowledge of troubleshooting and debugging hydraulic and pneumatic circuits an asset.Solid electrical, PLC and robots experience.
