Job #3886 – As a result of ongoing and continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Senior Bid Finance Lead to spearhead their large, upcoming project. Reporting to the Bid Director, the selected candidate will take full ownership of the bid process and will be willing to be hands on when needed. Main responsibilities include:
Responsible for the preparation and management of bid budgets and forecasts
Ensure proposals are powerful and meet internal governance requirements
Collaborate with other specialists to ensure correct technical accounting and finance aspects are incorporated
Support the bid team with providing various financial modelling, analysis, and advice
Evaluate capital financing issues while considering workforce modeling requirements, salary benchmarks and cost of employment uplifts.
Manage master data assumption lists for each bid
Produce and present financial impacts of various risk and opportunity registers as part of the governance review process
Support customer, supplier, and partner negotiations to ensure value-based decisions are made
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and obtain approvals to submit tenders
Manage direct requests for reports as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
Completed CPA designation
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with RFP’s and providing finance support in the preparations of large complex bids
8-10 years’ experience in a managerial position
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR clearance
Experience in the defense industry considered an asset
What’s the Bottom Line:
$130,000 – $160,000 annual salary
