We are looking for an individual to add value to the Company Program Management Team. This successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Engineering groups through: Key Roles and Responsibilities will include (not limited to): Lead a team of product and design engineers as they continue to grow their automotive business.Responsible for defining resource requirements, staffing, and training the engineering team.Provide technical assistance on critical product issues.Lead development of Design Practices and creation of databaseResponsible for final approval of product designParticipate in cross-functional design reviewsGuide PE team in completion of tasks required to successfully produce a specific component or assembly from initial design through product launchManage PE functions to effectively balance design and manufacturing requirementsGuide participation in problem solving teams and PDTsGuide PE in developing DVP&R testing plan to support program validation, execution & documentationSupport the Customer Engineering Review meetings and guide PEs for completion of engineering informationSupport Advanced Development to meet Engineering RequirementsSupport RFQ process for new program quotes.Manage ED&D budget and billing to Customer.Engineering degree.5-10 years of automotive manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership role.Working knowledge of GD&TOur client is proud to extend to its employees a compensation and benefits package that is designed to retain their talent and to motivate and reward job performance.
